Frequently asked questions.
Whether you are new to massage or it’s just been awhile, here are some questions I am often asked.
-
Well, that all depends on what your, specific, needs are. We will go over what areas are your main concern and then I will step out of the room to allow you to undress and get on the table.
When I return, I will make sure that you are at ease and then we will begin the bodywork.
-
Just wear what makes you comfortable. And if you are getting a Sports Massage, you should definitely wear loose, comfy clothes - basically what you would workout in.
-
You should always only undress to your comfort level. And you will be properly draped. Nothing will be exposed except the area that I am working on, e.g. back, arms, legs.
And, please, never feel like you shouldn’t speak up. Your feelings are completely valid. Definitely let me know if anything makes you uneasy.
-
I do not. However, I can email you a superbill to send to your insurance.
-
5-10 minutes early is plenty. This allows for time to talk about any issues you are experiencing and use the restroom if you need to.
-
Please do not. If you are not feeling well, let me know ASAP. It’s always best to exercise caution when you are experiencing any conditions/symptoms that could possibly be contagious.
We can reschedule you for another date. Or, if it’s too late, you may choose to send someone in your place.
